OT security monitoring by industry
Every plant runs differently, but the monitoring gap looks the same. You own the platform. Nobody is watching it enough hours of the day. ForgeSOC closes that gap for six kinds of operations.
01 / Six industries
Where ForgeSOC monitors OT
We work in operations where a SCADA or ICS outage shows up as a stopped process, a spoiled batch or a cold building. Pick the one closest to your sites.
Water and wastewater
Treatment plants, lift stations and remote pump sites run by small crews who cannot watch alerts around the clock.
View industryManufacturing
Production lines, PLCs and robotics cells that run across shifts where one stopped line costs real output.
View industryOil and gas midstream
Compressor stations, meter stations and RTUs at unmanned sites that report back over remote telemetry.
View industryFood and beverage
Batch processing, clean in place systems, cold chain and packaging lines that swing with the season.
View industryPharma and life sciences
Validated systems and batch records where read-only access and change control come first.
View industryBuilding and facility systems
BAS and BMS controlling HVAC, chillers and campus plant, including data center and hospital facilities.
View industry02 / What they share
The same gap in every industry
Most of our customers did the hard part already. They ran an assessment, or a compliance push, and bought an OT security platform that sees their network passively and flags threats. The sensors are in. The alerts are firing.
Then reality sets in. The OT or IT security team is two people, sometimes one, and they also own the help desk, the historian and the firewall. Alerts pile up in a console that nobody opens on a Saturday night.
That is the problem we solve. We do not sell you another platform. We watch the one you own.
- Lean teams: one to a handful of people covering OT and IT security.
- Owned platforms: passive OT visibility and threat detection already deployed.
- Uncovered hours: nights, weekends and holidays when nobody is looking at alerts.
- Small footprints: usually one to ten sites, each with its own quirks.
03 / Why OT is different
OT monitoring is not IT monitoring
A generic IT SOC sees an alert about a Modbus write or an engineering workstation talking to a controller and has no idea if that is normal. Our analysts work from asset, network and event context. They know a historian from a PLC and a vendor maintenance session from a stranger.
Confirmed findings escalate to US-based OT specialists, and read-only access means we never touch your process. Response decisions stay with you.

What you get in every industry
Analysts validate alerts, suppress duplicates, review asset and network context, assign severity and escalate with a written rationale. We follow tickets until handoff. We also watch platform connectivity, so a sensor that goes quiet gets noticed instead of read as good news.
You get monthly reporting on alerts and escalations and a quarterly asset true-up. We do not deploy or tune your platform, run forensics or perform incident response. If your platform needs tuning first, we can scope a readiness project.
06 / FAQ
Industry questions
01Do you cover my industry if it is not listed?
Ask us. If you run SCADA, ICS or building controls on a platform you already own, the fit call will tell us quickly.
02Do you replace my OT security platform?
No. We run on the platform you already own. We do not sell or deploy platforms.
03Can I start with only part of the day covered?
Yes. Nights and weekends, or a single shift, are common starting points.
04Who handles the response when something is real?
You do. We escalate with context and can connect you with response partners.
